THE SCIENCE CHANNEL

BETHLEHEM, PA - television show videography

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Bulldog Production House was approached in November 2020 by Two Four Studios to locally produce and direct a 3-5 minute block for The Science Channel’s television show “Impossible Engineering”. The Season 10 episode titled “Abandoned Resurrection” aired on July 7, 2021 and featured an old building being rebuilt that had to rely on technology developed by Bethlehem Steel. We traveled to Bethlehem, PA with 2 camera operators and filmed as their host Cara Michell, an urban planner, walked us through the development of the H-Beam and how it revolutionized building technologies. We departed for Bethlehem, PA at 4:30am to arrive by 8:00am for the shoot. Filming from morning, until sunset, we spent the day up close and personal with the historic Steel Stacks of Bethlehem Steel. The show can be watched with a Discovery Plus membership or have the Science channel as part of your cable package at the link above.
